When designing the Ami Collection (2021), Jonah Takagi and Hallgeir Homstvedt challenged themselves to create something that will never be thrown away. They succeeded by ensuring that the components – frame, cushions, and slipcovers – can be individually removed, refurbished, and repaired. Ami, which means “beloved” in Hindi, is furniture you can love forever. And should you ever wish to part with Ami, the individual parts can be recycled. Made in Norway.
