Charlottenborg Lounge Chair

Designed by modern master Arne Jacobsen and showcased the following year at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in Copenhagen, Charlottenborg (1936) is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans in sustainable rattan. This lounge chair has quite the unconventional shape, with an elegant curved back that flows into the armrests, both of which are beautifully integrated into the bottom of the chair. In addition to the rattan frame, it’s fitted with firm padded foam cushions in durable fabric upholstery. Reportedly one of Jacobsen’s favorite pieces at his summer cottage, Charlottenborg adds a sense of character and fluidity to any room. Made in Indonesia.
