A dual-purpose, modular design, the Luva Single Seat with One Arm (2022) features an innovative back that can be opened up or folded down to suit however you liked to sit. When the back is expanded, it embraces you in a relaxed lounge position. When closed, it supports you in a more upright position. Designed by Gabriel Tan for Herman Miller, Luva was inspired by the shape of a boxing glove and is named for the Portuguese word for “glove.” The soft, cushiony form of this modern chair comfortably curls around you like a cupped hand. Made in Italy.
- Moveable back allows you to easily shift from relaxed to supported and back again.
- A modular design, this chair can be combined with other Luva pieces.
