The 1188 Chair (1968) was Milo Baughman’s favorite chair and the one he chose to furnish the home of business partner and friend Thayer Coggin, whose North Carolina company still makes Baughman furniture. The bronze finish is created by hand and is not uniform by intention, left as is for warmth and character. Natural leather upholstery is prized for unique scars, scrapes, and wrinkles, none of which are defects.
